Frequently asked questions
Is Keynetic really free?
Yes. Every feature — unlimited vehicles, users and locations, contracts with e-signature, the booking widget, damage documentation, analytics — is free. We make money three transparent ways: a 0.5% platform fee on online card payments processed through the system, a 3% booking fee on reservations that come through the hosted booking widget, and an optional $49/month white-label plan that removes Keynetic branding and the platform fee. If you take payments at the counter and bookings by phone, you pay nothing.
Is there a vehicle or user limit?
No. Keynetic has no per-vehicle pricing and no tier caps. A 5-car operator and a 100-car operator use the same product for the same price: free.
How long does setup take?
Most operators are live in an afternoon. The onboarding wizard walks you through company branding, locations, vehicle classes and rates, and you can import your whole fleet from a CSV spreadsheet. There is no setup fee and no implementation project — and the built-in User Guide documents every feature with screenshots and worked examples.
What languages does Keynetic support for customers?
Rental agreements, the booking widget and customer emails are available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic (with full right-to-left layout). You pick one customer-facing language for your business, and your own wording is always printed exactly as you wrote it. More languages are added on request.
Can I leave and take my data with me?
Yes, at any time. There is no lock-in contract, and Settings → Data exports your vehicles, customers and bookings as CSV files that round-trip with our own import format.
Does Keynetic connect to OTAs and brokers?
Keynetic ships a free partner API (JSON) and an OTA XML gateway that brokers can use to query live availability and create bookings with their own API key. Managed one-click connections to specific OTAs are on the roadmap — we are honest about that distinction.
