The service
Keynetic is rental management software for vehicle rental companies. The core product is free of charge: every feature, with no time limit. Keynetic charges a 0.5% platform fee on card payments processed online through the platform, and offers an optional paid white-label subscription (branding removal), billed monthly through Stripe and month-to-month: no minimum term, cancel anytime from the billing portal, effective at the end of the paid period. We may adjust the platform fee or subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.
Business verification
We verify every rental business on the platform (know-your-business due diligence): registered company details, chamber-of-commerce registration, and proof of vehicle insurance. You can explore the product freely before verifying, but customer-facing use of the platform requires a verified business. We may decline or revoke verification — and suspend accounts — where information is false, incomplete, or where we're required to by law.
Your data
Everything you enter remains yours. You can export it at any time, during or after your subscription. If you cancel, we keep your account data available for 90 days so you can come back or export, then delete it.
Data protection (GDPR)
For the personal data of your customers that you store in Keynetic — renters, drivers, contact details — you are the data controller and Keynetic acts as your processor under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR/AVG). We process that data only to provide the service, host it within the EU where possible, and never sell it or use it for advertising. For the account data of your own team, Keynetic is the controller. Sub-processors we rely on include Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Meta (WhatsApp delivery), each under their own data-processing terms. Contact us for a signed data-processing agreement.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the legality of your rental operation, the accuracy of contracts you issue, compliance with local consumer and data-protection law for the customer data you enter, and keeping your staff credentials secure. Don't use the service to do anything unlawful.
Acceptable use
No abusive load or attempts to breach other tenants' data; no impersonating another business; no using the platform for anything other than a genuine vehicle-rental operation. We may suspend accounts that put other customers or the platform at risk, and will tell you why.
Payments
Rental payments you collect run through your own Stripe account under Stripe's terms; Keynetic is not a party to transactions between you and your customers. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.
Availability & liability
We work to keep the service fast and available but provide it "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes that we can't resolve together go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you operate elsewhere, mandatory local consumer or business law that applies to you is unaffected.
